Lecture 2 deeps into the distributed consensus of the bitcoin protocol: Nakamoto Consensus which combines Proof of Work and “longest chain wins” rule to achieve agreement. Additionally, we have a brief security analysis on miners’s incentive and introduce the concept of mining pool and forks.
