In this video I’m going to show you how you can create an MEV bot for sandwich attack using Flashbots. This is what JaredfromSubway.eth is doing on Ethereum. MEV arbitrage is super technical, so be warned!
The basic concept of the Miner Extractable Value or Maximum Extractable Value (MEV) sandwich attack is to exploit the decentralized nature of the Ethereum blockchain, using a bot to place trades immediately before and after a target transaction. The bot’s trades profit from the price slippage caused by the target transaction.
To create an MEV sandwich bot, you would first need to identify profitable opportunities, i.e., large transactions that would cause significant price slippage. Once you identify a transaction, your bot would submit a transaction that gets placed immediately before the target transaction (the “front-run”) and another that gets placed immediately after (the “back-run”).
