About Jason
He is a full-time crypto native investor. Previously, he was a General Partner at Spartan Capital, one of Asia’s first institutional crypto funds. He co-led investments in more than 80 companies and helped scale their fund from $9M in AUM to $500M. As the Head of Research, he led his team to deliver the #1 returns for an emerging fund in 2020 and #1 returns for a hedge fund in 2021.
As an angel investor, he primarily invests in early-stage crypto founders, including the seed stage at multiple unicorns (e.g. Dune Analytics, 1inch, and others).
Since 2018, he has also hosted one of the most followed podcasts in the industry with up to 15M monthly engagement on socials.
In 2021, he was named one of “21 Entrepreneurs and Financiers Leading Blockchain in Hong Kong”. In 2022, he was named Forbes’ 30 under 30 in the Venture Capital and Finance category.
